Dwayne Wade Adds More Fuel to the 50/50 Fire
Well, well, well. I had to follow up on my last post on these two. A case study in role reversal, but that’s a post for another day. On topic, Dwayne Wade decided to address the 50/50 dynamic that he and his wife shared, and in my opinion, it only made it worst.
Before I go there, I believe that couples must work out a dynamic that works for them. I do not believe in 50/50 financial arrangements and would never encourage a woman to partake in a scam like that. With that said, let’s dive in!

If you want to be limitless in life and relationships, invest time and energy into healing your traumas. According to Dwayne Wade, the 50/50 dynamic started because the couple argued, and Wade said, “It’s my house that I paid for.” He says, “My wife looked at me and said, ‘You will never say that to me again when it’s something we share. So when we moved to Los Angeles, my wife said, ‘I got half on it. You will never say ‘my house’ again — you can say that in the arena!’”
Gabrielle Union’s insistence on 50/50 is simply because this man made her feel unsafe and insecure. To level the playing field and ensure that she has the same access and rights to whatever is bought, it made sense to her to contribute to whatever they bought.
