Netflix’s ‘The Ultimatum’ — Episode 2 Recap, Notes, Lessons
This episode opens up on Alexis sharing that she doesn’t want to be the breadwinner in her relationship. It’s great when people know what they want and are true to themselves.
Even though Colby told her that he could not see a future with her and didn’t feel they had the spark, she couldn’t’ accept it and decided to follow up. COlby doubled down and told her that he wasn’t attracted to her. She still thinks it’s bs.
She even goes so far as to be bitter about it and tells his ex that she is right to have reservations about him. Bitter much? She does that in front of her ex. Super tacky!
Lesson: I don’t know why women run men down, when it’s obvious the man is not into them. Just move on. But more importantly, when a man tells you that he is not into you either via words or actions, BELIEVE THAT man and move on to someone who wants you.
Colby is sad about not being with Madlyn. Like many of us, dating sometimes provides clarity on what you want.
Zay and Shanique are connecting. Shanique is very clear on what she wants in marriage and a partner and she is very vocal about that. Zay is on board with her requirements. They connect and talk about intimacy and connection.
