TJ Holmes: Remaining Loyal to a Disrespectful Man Does Not Guarantee He’ll Turn His Behavior Around
TJ Holmes, the married “Good morning America” anchor, recently made headlines for cheating on his wife, with his married co-anchor, Amy Robach. Holmes has been married to his wife for 12 years and they have a 9-year old daughter. Robach married her husband in 2010, the same year TJ married his wife.
As it turns out, this was not the first time he cheated on his wife. In fact, he had a 3 year affair with his married producer. That affair was the end of her marriage. His wife decided to “stick beside him”.
There is so much to be said about this situation. However, what struck me the most was the facebook post he shared on his 10th wedding anniversary.

Here is a man who repeatedly cheats on his wife and then applauds her ability to stomach that kind of gut-wrenching pain to press on and commit to him, despite the myriad ways and times that he disrespected her. If he was so grateful and honored to be with her, why not stop devaluing her and treat her with love and care?
